Hollywood-Crawford Giving Back

We take pride in being part of the South Texas community, having served San Antonio and the surrounding area for 65 years. We feel it is important to share the blessings we have been given and help others in our community. Hollywood-Crawford participates in and contributes financially to several worthy causes in the San Antonio area.

We are proud supporters of Homes for Our Troops. This organization is committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries by building homes that provide maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently. The homes are given to the veterans at no cost to them. Hollywood-Crawford has donated several garage doors and openers to local homes built by Homes for Our Troops and strongly supports the organization.

We also work with KENS 5 TV's Mi Casa Makeover by donating garage doors and openers to many of the homes they've remodeled for deserving San Antonio families.

Hollywood-Crawford recently shared some of their blessings with Daily Bread Ministries and Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries. These separate organizations are committed to gathering and providing food to compassion organizations which distribute it to people in need. Daily Bread serves the San Antonio area, and Hill Country Daily Bread serves eight counties in the hill country surrounding San Antonio. You can read more on our Facebook page. 

Hollywood-Crawford has been a long-time participant in the Greater San Antonio Education Foundation's Charity Home. This is a massive annual undertaking to construct a new home through donations of labor and materials from San Antonio area builders and businesses. Once completed, the home is sold, and the proceeds from the sale go to fund scholarships to Construction Management students at area universities.

We support public television and have donated several valuable gift certiticates to KLRN's annual pledge drive over the past several years.
